Chelsea Camp

This past weekend we had 9 present or future Bulldog Hockey players attend the Michigan High School Hockey Excellence Program in Chelsea, MI.  Players from as far away as Kingsford (U.P.) traveled to Chelsea to  improve both their individual skills as well as their  knowledge of the game.  Four teams are assembled, while following a day-long schedule of on-ice (2x), classroom and off ice, the four teams face off each evening to compete for the Camp Championship.

Below/attached are the names and photos of the Bulldog players who attend the 19th MIHSEP, from Left to right:

Brendan Bourne, Noah Lovely, Gavin Rozema, Gunnar Suidinski, Wilson Pratt, Caden Fisher, Josiah Lambers, Sam Rozema (not pictured, Holden Pratt)

Sam, Josiah, Caden (Team Blue) faced off against Noah, and Brendan (Team Green) in Sunday's "Championship" game with Team Green (Noah and Brendan's team) coming out as victors.

Congrats to all our players and thank you for your hard work and positive attitude each of you brought to camp. Thanks also to the parents who took several days of their summer to be their with their sons. Our sport is a shared commitment that goes beyond simply the athlete, thanks to the moms and dads for all the support you provide in so many ways!

With each MIHSEP I attend and or instruct, I receive the best compliment a parent and/or a coach could possibly have...that is having fellow camp coaches and staff remark how polite, courteous and what a great team mate Grandville Hockey Players are, each and every year!....

Thanks for representing our program and our Community so well!    Coach B.
