The Dawgs traveled to FSU's Ewigleben Ice Arena on Wednesday night to take on the Cardinals  After a tight first period in which the lone goal was scored by David Breazeale on assists from Cooper Pratt and Chris Northouse, the second period saw a little more action at both ends  Grandville extended their lead on a Trevor Gelfius goal from Brendan Cawthon and Zach Tykocki  The lead was short lived, however, as the Dawgs failed to capitalize on their lone power play of the night and allowed the returning Cardinals player to break in alone on the goal tender, Noah Lovely  Unlike prior sparkling saves on quality scoring chances, this one eluded him  It would be the only goal he allowed on the evening  Northouse extended the lead back to two goals when he found the net on a feed from Patrick Underwood with a second assist to Shane Haggerty  The third period would belong to the visitors as Grandville closed out the game with two unanswered goals  Tyce Lindhout scored the first varisty goal of his career with assists to David Breazeale and Noah Goethal (also Noah's first career varsity point)
